Happy Autumn friends!
I miss this space. I miss the rhythm and routine of coming here.
Our summer was a beautiful, bountiful and busy one full of many new adventures along with much tradition.
I am ready for fall though. It is a time of renewal for me.
I have begun to bring the gifts of this new season indoors to incorporate into our decor. We are eating squashes, brussels sprouts and dark leafy greens and soon soup will be a weekly meal.
We have a trip to the orchard planned to pick loads of apples to turn into sauce to can for winter as well as for holiday gifts.
And soon there will be daily trips to the woodpile.
I feels good to be back.

Welcome back! I love Autumn too, there is something just so comforting about it and I too have the intention of a supper soup night. I did this years ago before my life ran a muck with too many balls to juggle and no time for anything I loved. Now, it sound a perfect way to sink back into me and my nest: soup & home made bread – and maybe some applesauce too! 🙂 A friend gifted us with a bag from her tree. Do you have a favorite apple sauce recipe you can share?

Hi, I am SO happy you are back here, I have really missed your posts all the way up to Norway:)
Fall is my favourite time of the year and this year it has been really mild so far.

Looking forward to reading future posts. Enjoy perusing your blog/site and all the photos of decor @second and edgemont. A calm and cozy feeling comes over me as I gaze at your corners and cupboards and walls and collections. Nothing more comforting then a pantry full of homemade canned goodies. Enjoy the apple picking.
