    I was just searching for a natural bug repellent recipe!
    When I do get a bite that needs attention, I put a thin slice of cucumber on it. If your slice is thin enough and without skin it will be pliable and stick to you like a bandaid. Cucumber stops the itching, swelling and redness. My boys will only tolerate cucumber slices on them for so long before they start eating them! It works amazingly well.
