March 4, 2012

today was almost 60 degrees and sunny.
i bought a few violas and a some sweet alyssum to brighten up some pots.
i then cleaned up a few beds, and we planted peas and some spinach in the cold frame.
norah has been wanting to plant seeds for weeks now.
the other day while at the store she had some of her own money to spend.
she chose to buy seeds rather than candy.

yay norah! I planted a few seeds today too. Can’t wait to plant some more. It was so warm here as well – felt like a taste of summer. Floaty cotton and sandals kind of day.

I always love your pantry. This is crazy … I have that same oval wooden bowl with the unevenly spaced dipped out sections. I keep little sewing things at the ready in it. Must have bought it 20 years ago, while thrifting, and have never seen another like it. Until now.
