March 8, 2010

I know that it is not quite spring yet, but it sure felt like it around here today. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day and we hear it is going to stay this way for the rest of the week.We spent most of the day outdoors. The girls played while I tidied up a bit. Spring cleaning. Cleaned out the chicken coop, some garden beds, the potting shed, the refrigerator, and a few drawers and cupboards. Boy it felt good. And someone got a little spring haircut too.

Yay for short sleeves and for empty pots just waiting to be planted!

How lovely! Outside days are so life giving, aren't they? I bought a package of sweet pea seeds and as soon as the sun shines a little here, I shall plant them.
