today was a glorious day.
the sun, the breeze, and the cool air lifted my spirits.
and the light was magical.
i had fun making shadows.
hop on over to tend where i talk a bit about maximizing my garden space.

boy it was a hot one today!
we retreated to the woods to cool off.
it helped.
a lot.
now a storm is beginning to brew.
and i can feel the cool air blowing in.

rhubarb from our community garden.
biscuits and strawberry jam.
strawberry rhubarb soda. i added strawberry juice from the jam cooking on the stove.

smoothies.
and little breezes from the fan (we are having a major heat wave here)
a little weekend camping getaway to assateague island.

-the living roof on top of the rabbit hutch is growing herbs, succulents, and salad mix
