boy it was a hot one today!
we retreated to the woods to cool off.
it helped.
a lot.
now a storm is beginning to brew.
and i can feel the cool air blowing in.

strawberries from our local farm.
rhubarb from our community garden.
biscuits and strawberry jam.
strawberry rhubarb soda. i added strawberry juice from the jam cooking on the stove.
strawberry rhubarb crumble.
smoothies.
and little breezes from the fan (we are having a major heat wave here)
a little weekend camping getaway to assateague island.

-i like the living roof concept so much, i thought i’d try a living table
-spinach is up in the coldframe
-things are really starting to fill in
-the living roof on top of the rabbit hutch is growing herbs, succulents, and salad mix
-and a sneaky hen who keeps escaping
