creating space for beauty & simplicity
i have the best job on earth.
i drive five minutes from home and pull up to a beautiful farm.
and there i am.
greeted by beautiful people who make me laugh and smile all day.
and for breakfast i pick berries.
for lunch i harvest greens.
and i leave with a bag full of veggies for dinner.
sometimes i can’t believe how good life is.
We went camping this weekend on a beautiful free range beef, poultry and hog farm. I did not want to come home. Every time I visit a farm it really feels like home to me. I hope that one day we will have our own but for now it’s nice to dream.
Oh Fall how i love thee….your air, your light, your colors, the crickets, the crows, the geese, the bounty. but tomatoes, sweet tomatoes oh how i will miss thee. i will savor your sweetness until the soon to be frost.
Went on a drive to visit with the cows who provide for our favorite yogurt. We picked up some fresh cream to make wineberry ice cream.
