it was a nice little mid week get away to Cape May Point with my mom and the girls.
we managed to fit in quite a lot in just a few days.
our place is small (a one room studio space) but we like it that way.
we are used to small.
we call it the “shore room” and it’s just right.
it’s all we need when most of the time we are out and about.
our little room is just a bike ride or walk away from a general store with an amazing bakery and cafe, many roadside farm stands including one with delicious cob oven baked bread, an organic farm whose german mustard pickles are out of this world, and the beach.
when we are tuckered out from a long day we come back to our little one room retreat and wash up in the outdoor shower, cook up some dinner, read, take a nap, play a game of cards and just cozy up.
and when it’s time to leave, a quick sweep up and it’s all clean.

I am wondering if this is a rental and if you would share contact info. Would love to go in November.

hi jen, this is a little place that my mom rents for the entire year from a friend. her friend has pretty much given ownership of the room to my mom who has completely transformed it and made it our own. we have had the place for about 8 years now. unfortunately my mom does not rent it out. there are however many lovely little places at the point for rent.

Thanks for responding, and you are right, there are so many lovely places on the Point to rent. We have been going there for the past 8 years, and have rented a different cottage each year and enjoyed them all!
